In July 2009, Jenna opened Patch Studio in Fringe Movement a 4,400 sq ft wood shop turned design studio in the heart of Union Square Somerville that she rents out to designers and artists of various mediums from fashion, photography, videography, letterpress printing, graphic design, industrial design, architecture, custom bike framing and more.
Jenna is a fashion design consultant who designs a wide range of product for the fashion industry from accessories, womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, and athleticwear in the ready to wear market. Jenna studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Her work is focused around the relationships between traditional crafts and new technologies. Jenna comes from a family of fashion designers and craftspeople. Jenna works with her mother and grandmother to develop traditional hand loomed textiles made into apparel and accessories under their label FutureCraft. Jenna’s works has been featured in numerous fashion publications world- wide including Vogue, DNR, Theme, Viewpoint, View Textiles, Streetwear Today, IDN, Monitor, Loft, Time Out NY, Vapors, BPM, and many more.
