That's how it is on most days when you go into any of the Johnny Cupcakes stores.. no cupcakes.. sorry! I've had such a blast working with the Johnny Cupcakes team this past year+ growing their product line from just tshirts to backpacks, pencils, button ups, earrings, water bottles, snow tubes, collaborations with cool companies like New Era, Warner Bros.. you name it. The best thing is- I'll never forget the first day I came into the Weymouth office in Sept 08 to meet with Johnny.. and literally a notebook filled with his ideas later and my hand cramped from writing so much-- I realized wow- I have a lot of work to do! And ever since then, every day we've been chipping away at making those dreams come true. I also think I said to the JC team-- you know I don't think I can do this all in a year-- this looks like a 5-10 year plan?! lol
Well anyways here's a recap of some of my personal favorites of the products we've created, styled, played with, and had a great time during photo shoots. It was a great 2009 and I can't WAIT to show you what we have in store for 2010!
